ISS Eesti joined the action to become a gene donor!

During the jubilee year of the Republic of Estonia, Estonian Genome Centre called out to all residents to become a gene donor and collect additional 100,000 samples and data of people in the Estonian Genome Centre.

ISS wishes to give its contribution to achieving the 100,000 donors and invited all of its employees to become a gene donor.

An overview of the genes will help to determine, why people have different health risks and why medication are affecting them differently. In this way, in the future it is possible to prevent and treat diseases more effectively taking into consideration the genetic information.

Action to become a gene donor among the employees of ISS will last until 16th of November.

By now, a lot of employees all over Estonia have already informed that they have given the gene sample.
